Kazuya Sakamoto is featured among the participating artists in the exhibition “Arc of The City,” held throughout January 2021 at the Nagoya’s Kanayama Minami Building Museum, Nagoya (formerly known as Nagoya/Boston Museum).
Focusing on the revitalization of the Nakagawa canal that connects Nagoya’s city centre and the port, the exhibition presented a selection of works by some of the artists who had previously participated in “Nakagawa Canal GrantArtoc10,′ a project devoted to the restoration of the Nakagawa Canal area and to the financial support of cultural and artistic activities which has been run by Nagoya Urban Institute since 2013.
The exhibition, whose access had been limited due to the current situation, is now available online.
