nca | nichido contemporary art takes part in Art Gwangju 2010, a new international art fair coincided with the Gwangju Biennale, Korea. We feature several series of works by Vik Muniz.
From September 1st to the 5th, Gwangju, the city of human rights and the Gwangju Biennale, will be the home of a distinctively new international art fair, Art Gwangju. Conceived alongside the Gwangju Biennale, Art Gwangju will bring a fresh new aspect to the rich artistic and cultural scene that develops around one of the most prestigious art events in Asia. The fair will be held in the Kimdaejung Convention Center, named after the Nobel Peace Prize recipient, late President Kim Dae-jung. With around 100 leading galleries from all corners of the globe set to attend, Art Gwangju has made its way into the agendas of collectors, curators, artists and art lovers from Asia and the rest of the world.
